Stop Work Authorization Procedure

Stop Work Authority (SWA) provides employees, and contract workers with the responsibility and obligation to stop work whenever they believe, in good faith, that there is an unsafe condition. It is a Safety-Based process that gives employees, and contract workers, permission to stop work if they perceive that there is risk of an incident or injury.
